Mission statement

The Office of Council and Court Secretariat and Legal is committed to rendering professional secretariat and legal services for the University, in support of its mission to provide quality higher education and other services for the community.

What we do

We....

  • provide quality secretarial and administrative support to the Council, the Court, the Senior Executive Committee and other major committees of the University;

  • liaise with the University Grants Committee, Education Bureau and other Government Departments/Bureaux on University-wide matters;

  • coordinate with the Beijing Normal University on matters related to Beijing Normal–Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) and to serve as the link between the University and BNBU;

  • coordinate developmental projects and institutional initiatives to further the interests of the University.
